Dr. Dennison attended and graduated from Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, NC in 1975. He continued his education at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV where he graduated magna cum laude in 1978, followed by receipt of his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in 1983. His internship was completed at the University of Kentucky Medical Center at Lexington, KY in 1984; his internal medicine residency at University of Kentucky Medical Center was completed in 1986 followed by completion of a rheumatology fellowship at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC in 1988. Dr. Dennison has been with HIMG since 1991 and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the subspecialty of rheumatology.
